Launching Caddie - The most effective and personal way of going through college recruiting
A recruiting research tool for families who want to do it themselves
Since leaving college coaching in 2023 and moving to Norway - I have helped a handful of families in their recruiting processes. These families usually come to me with a dream of playing college golf - but with little or no idea of where to start with:
finding information
how and who to contact
which rules apply
how to use social media
and lots more
In general - which steps they should take.
You can read some of their testimonials here.
During my seven years as a D1 coach, I received thousands of recruiting emails. The main mistake I see is that the emails and outreach becomes generic and impersonal. As a former coach, the main thing I have consulted these athletes and their families on is how to reach out, and how to maintain relationships with coaches.
The coaches want to hear from you - the player.
What I’ve built
I coach you step by step on how to set everything up.
Start with “Get Started”
Your final “Get Started” task is to send me a mock email - where I am the Head Coach of Caddie University in the Southeastern Conference. After your submission, I give you a full, videoed review of your mock email and your pipeline at that point.

Which schools to email
Doing proper research and writing personal emails takes time. I’ve learned that this is often the biggest pain point for athletes wanting to be the engine of their own recruiting.
Therefore, I gathered all of the data I could think of in one place - to make this as efficient as possible. That way, you and your parents can spend your valuable time on understanding and personalizing your outreach.
In the extensive schools table, you are able to search and filter however you desire on the following parameters:
Geography: School name, state, area.
Team rankings: Division, latest available scoreboard ranking, average ranking across the last three seasons.
Academics: NCES cost of attendance, admission rate.
Roster data: filter by country to find where players from your country have attended, current international percentage of roster, historical international percentage.
WAGR at enrollment: Look through what share of players from the roster data were ranked + average wagr rankings at enrollment of those players.
Weather data: Sunny days per year, average temp in February and August.
Save schools to your private pipeline.
From CADDIE, I’m always just a message away. A monthly comprehensive review of your account and pipeline from me is also included.

Additional resources
Caddie members also get access to the two eBooks I’ve published:
The Recruitment Playbook - the insights from my survey of 50+ college golf coaches regarding recruiting.
The College Golf Report - the advice of 133 former college golfers to junior golfers.
There’s also an example email attachment file to help you get going.
Pricing: $99 per month, or $990 per year.
I tell everyone that reaches out with recruiting questions that they should be the engine of their own recruitment. It requires effort, but it leads to the best process. This system makes it all extremely effective and informational, with me as a counsel every step of the way.
If you know a family going through this process, I’d appreciate you sharing this!
